Antonio Ciacca's experience is unparalleled in the music industry. Due to his proven expertise in both sides of the business Antonio is truley an international master.
As a musician, he has performed and arranged for Benny Golson, Art Farmer, Lee Konitz, Wynton Marsalis, Steve Grossman, Bob Mintzer, Johnny Griffin, Woody Herman Big Band, The Jazz Heritage Orchestra, and Steve Lacy. As a leader, his groups have performed all over the world including Blue Note, Minton's Playhouse, Dizzy's Club Coca-Cola, Ronnie's Scott, Rome Jazz Festival, and Stockholm Jazz Festival. He has recorded on YVP, SPlas(H), Soul Note, Motema.
As a businessman, Antonio founded and served as Artistic Director for "C-Jam Music" a booking agency based out of Italy which is "C-Jam Music" jazz booking agencies in Europe. He is currently the Director of Programming at Jazz at Lincoln Center reporting only to Artistic Director, Wynton Marsalis.
All of the following schools, universities and conservatories have recently had a great experience from Antonio's workshops and the students continue to keep in touch with him for guidance of their professional careers: The Juilliard School, Miami University, John Hopkins University-Bologna, Italy, Berklee College of Music, Cleveland State Unversity, University of Music Rome, Osara Jazz Summer Camp and many more.
